Korean BBQ

I start my weekends with a four mile walk. Before you ask me how I do it, let me tell you that the secret is manipulation! I will never walk four miles alone. SO, I created a meetup.com group to walk. If people are expecting me to show, I'll put on those tennis shoes and get moving.

And now let me tell you why I walk. Because I want to eat. If I can't be traveling the world, the next best thing is a trip to Buford Highway for a taste of a new cuisine. And today it was the Kim-Chi House on the corner of Buford and Oakcliff. It's hard to find because it's to the back of a building, but that's the sign out front. Wish I could figure out how to space those photos through the text. Can someone help with that? Anyway you start with lots of little side dishes. We also had wine. They cook the beef and pork right at your table.

That's the gang below and Yoshi, main cook!

You start with lots of side dishes! Kim Chi--of course! But I love the pickled radish. And the salad was great. The white block in the lower right is rice paper rolls--tho it wasn't very paper like. Fairly think. You roll up the cooked meat and add sauces, dips etc.

This is the front of the restaurant.
